We will conduct water sampling for the St. Marys Riverkeeper on Wednesday May 1, 2024. We have two windows to consider for sampling: Window 1 would require launch at 6:15 AM for a "sunrise sampling", completion by 9:00 AM; Window 2 would be a launch at 4:00 PM, completion by around 7:30 PM. Sunny, no rain in the forecast, 83 degrees for a high, SSE 10-20 mph winds. First step will be to determine (a) who is interested in participating, (b) for which Window, and (c) whether a boat is available (besides mine). Tom Maguire and Rick are good for either Window, but AISC will have only one sampling outing so that all samples are taken within an approximate 3 hour window. Analysis of water chemistry samples will occur on Thursday May 2 at Rick's home in Marsh Lakes; let him know if you are interested in assisting us on that, as well.
