Sunset Cruise on the Amelia River

Last month we had a very positive response to our proposal to host a sunset river cruise. The large number of members showing interest allowed us to go forward with booking a private charter on Amelia River Cruises. We are expecting about sixty of our current members and several past members to join us.
For various logistical and cost reasons, we have decided to make this a “Bring Your Own” event. There is plenty of room by each seat to bring your own cooler or bag with your favorite beverage and snack.
We will have live music from one of Amelia's favorite local bands, The Sean McCarthy Band.
While the club is sponsoring the event, we will be charging a $20 per person ticket fee to help offset some of the cost. This is less than half the regular price for these cruises. We had hoped for a weekend date, but the normally milder temperature of September keeps these cruises consistently booked.
